Allen and Julie started in the automotive business in 1989 running a Povey Service station in Millendon when pumping up the tyres and checking the oil and water was all part of the driveway service. In 1990 we moved to Ampol Midland Service station with the opportunity to offer mechanical repairs in a little three bay workshop. In 1994 Allen and Julie formed a partnership with Neil (Julie’s brother) and in 1995 they made the move to Great Eastern Highway Midland where they leased a new purpose built workshop. It was here that they started the business Midland Autoplus and Neil trained Allen and Julie’s sons Chris, Ben, Vinny and their nephew Morgan in the Automotive Mechanical Trade. We fulfilled our dream when in 2005 we purchased our own premises at 3 Artello Bay Road Midvale and Chris, Ben and Vinny joined partnership with Allen and Julie. We are proud to say we are a family business, working with us Morgan (nephew), Cristof (nephew), Sarah (Chris’s wife), Debbie(Julie’s sister) and Danielle and Melissa (nieces). Together Allen, Julie, Chris, Ben and Vinny look forward to providing a modern equipped workshop with honest reliable service.
